Dakak : The Pride of Dapitan

DAKAK came from the words Daghan ang Kakahuyan ( Plenty of Trees) according to our guide. I never expected too much with this resort since I have heard that it wasn't that nice compared to the other resorts in the country. But hey, those who said that. You were all wrong! haha

Powder White Sands. Lush Greens. Blue Tinted Skies. What can you ask for?

We stayed in one of their Family Pavillions that can accomodate up to 18 people. Since we are only 14, the room was really big enough for all of us. It is powered by two Split type aircons. It has 6 bunk beds. Two toilets. Two shower rooms. a TV and a balcony outside with bamboo chairs.

Its summer and everyone wanted to go for the beach!

Dakak's beach has fine white sand and a beachfront that softly kisses the gently coming waves at it faces the Sulu Sea.

Food gathers us all.

Ginger dances the hula. The brave soul of the group

Our package came with a buffet dinner with a cultural show full of fun, fire breathers and dancing hula. A sumptuous buffet awaits all the guest. After dinner, a number of performances were presented. Different kinds of Hawaiian dances and fire dancers amzed us. Audience participation is highly encouraged.

Walang Tulugan!
After dinner, everyone was still hyper that we still managed to play Bowling. Billiards. Some even did sang a few songs in the videoke.

The resort itself boast a 15 hectare land. Good thing the resort provides free golf cart service to various locations in the resort. Daily breakfast are served in buffet that's why everyone eats like a King!
